Ocho Rios White River Tubing

One of Ocho Rios’ top attractions for water lovers is the Ocho Rios White River Tubing. At three miles long, White River is the longest river in St. Ann and it offers thrills and spills that simply cannot be found anywhere else. Discover Jamaica’s natural beauty and breathtaking views as you take a 45 minute adventure down one of Jamaica’s most treasured attractions. White River is located just outside the town of Ocho Rios, making it just a short trip from your hotel or cruise ship. As you arrive, the calm surroundings will greet you and you’ll begin to hear the gentle hum of the river and the laughter of others that are having the time of their lives who have already begun their journey down the river.

Each patron will be given a river tube and a life vest during the duration of the adventure. The journey down the White River is a mixture of tumultuous rapids and a peaceful and relaxing glide. Make sure to bring your waterproof camera to capture the flora and fauna that you’ll undoubtedly see while on your White River tubing adventure.

Don’t fret, since the water is fresh from the mountains, it is cool to the touch so there’s no need to worry about being too cold while on your trip. With the temperatures in Ocho Rios periodically reaching above 80°F in the summer months, you’ll be glad that you decided to take a White River tubing adventure. Midway through the trip, you can stop at one of the many swimming holes and swing from a rope into the water and then continue on your journey. Even though river tubing was created for the younger generation, it has managed to attract both young and old, making it the perfect attraction for the entire family to enjoy.

Even though the water is mostly shallow, each tour group has experienced guides monitoring the trip and ensuring that patrons make it down the river safely. Your White River tubing adventure will end not very far from the Beach where you can purchase souvenirs, take photographs and use changing/bathroom facilities. Although it’s not necessary, you can opt to bring water shoes if you desire. For those with sensitive skin, sun block will be a must. We are looking forward to seeing you enjoy the thrills at the White River Tubing adventure.
